However, I always look to give my best and fight for Sarawak,\u201d he told reporters here this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perlis\u2019 Kamal Farhan A Rahman settled for silver with a 16.31m throw while Johor\u2019s Farm Loong Deng took bronze with a throw of 15.84m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The athletics camp also settled for bronze in the women\u2019s discus throw event after Vanessa Niega Franky recorded a throw of 35.38m in the finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gold medal was won by Johor\u2019s Nur Atiqah Sufiah Md Hanizam\u2019 throw of 44.99m, Pahang\u2019 Nani Sahirah Maryata clinched the silver medal with a throw of 39.97m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsarawaktribune.com.my\/iban-shot-putter-fulfills-expectations-bags-sarawaks-first-sukma-gold-with-promise-of-more-from-athletics-camp\/\">New Sarawak Tribune<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA LUMPUR:&nbsp;Sarawak\u2019s athletics camp has delivered the state\u2019s first gold medal at the 20th Malaysia Games (Sukma XX) here this morning (Sept 15).
