{"id":20397,"date":"2022-09-18T10:33:20","date_gmt":"2022-09-18T02:33:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ssc16.gov.my\/bm\/?p=20397"},"modified":"2022-09-18T10:33:23","modified_gmt":"2022-09-18T02:33:23","slug":"state-cricket-team-wins-first-match-in-sukma-geared-up-to-finish-among-the-top-teams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ssc16.gov.my\/bm\/state-cricket-team-wins-first-match-in-sukma-geared-up-to-finish-among-the-top-teams\/","title":{"rendered":"State cricket team wins first match in Sukma, geared up to finish among the top teams"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>KUALA LUMPUR:<\/strong>&nbsp;The state\u2019s cricket squad is aiming for a podium finish at the Malaysia Games 2022 (Sukma XX).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This came following the squad\u2019s 139 to 22 victory against Sabah during their opening game at the Selangor Turf Club Cricket Oval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The squad\u2019s assistant chef de mission (ACDM) Kennedy Chukpai Ugon said the team is well prepared this time around to give other teams a run for their money in their upcoming matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite heavy odds against the squad which was drawn against strong teams, he asserted that they were unperturbed in the spirit of \u2018agi idup agi ngelaban\u2019 (fight until death).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDespite the odds being against us when drawn against top teams, our players will give it their all in our mission to emerge victorious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey still play in the spirit of \u2018agi idup agi ngelaban\u2019.
